Nano Challa

Operated as a coffee cooperative, Nano Challa is small mill located near the town of Gera, in the famed Jimma region of Ethiopia. Various smallholders work together to ensure that they're able to maintain ownership and governance over their farms, as well as overseeing reinvestment initiatives to improve milling capabilities. 

The cup offers a floral bouquet typical of the origin, with flavors evoking ripe stone fruit, honey, and a pleasant citric presence throughout. A washed process coffee, Nano Challa is a nice alternative to the funky berry-tinged naturals of Ethiopia, presenting a cleaner take on these sweet fruit notes.
