Juan Peña - Gesha #32

We are proud to work with Juan Peña and his team at Cafexporto, and securing this extremely limited allocation of Hacienda La Papaya's gesha was a no-brainer. Reflecting his team's commitment to agricultural and processing innovation, this coffee is a great representation of the elegance that made the gesha varietal so famous. In the cup, we get a subtle rosewater note combined with a honeydew melon sweetness throughout, with a finish that evokes jasmine tea.
Grown and processed on the slopes of southern Ecuador at 2100 masl, this washed process coffee underwent a short fermentation period before being fully washed and dried on raised beds.
